Installation Manager
March 15, 2018The Installation Manager manages the onsite installation process by ensuring all necessary materials are available, allocated to the project, and the work is assigned to a qualified independent Installation Sub-contractor for project completion.
The Installation Manager will work in a fast-paced but casual environment and play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by actively engaging Installation Sub-contractors, Inspectors, and support staff while adhering to strict quality control standards, job site safety, and making sure building codes are followed.
Knowledge and skills required:
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Expert in the fundamentals of Cabinetmaking & Cabinet Installation
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
- Must be able to function with interruptions and deadlines
- Perform consistently under pressure and handles pressure/disappointment professionally
- Consistently follows up on items/tasks, highly organized
- Ability to be diplomatic when dealing with clients
- Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with Installation Sub-contractors
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours and weekends to address Installation Sub-contractor and customer needs/expectations
- Fluent computer skills working with Microsoft Outlook
- Pleasant telephone manner
- Capacity to create a sense of ownership and empowerment with internal support staff
- Ability and willingness to drive change effectively
