Installation Manager

The Installation Manager manages the onsite installation process by ensuring all necessary materials are available, allocated to the project, and the work is assigned to a qualified independent Installation Sub-contractor for project completion.

The Installation Manager will work in a fast-paced but casual environment and play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by actively engaging Installation Sub-contractors, Inspectors, and support staff while adhering to strict quality control standards, job site safety, and making sure building codes are followed.

Knowledge and skills required:

  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Expert in the fundamentals of Cabinetmaking & Cabinet Installation
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Must be able to function with interruptions and deadlines
  • Perform consistently under pressure and handles pressure/disappointment professionally
  • Consistently follows up on items/tasks, highly organized
  • Ability to be diplomatic when dealing with clients
  • Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with Installation Sub-contractors
  • Ability and willingness to work extended hours and weekends to address Installation Sub-contractor and customer needs/expectations
  • Fluent computer skills working with Microsoft Outlook
  • Pleasant telephone manner
  • Capacity to create a sense of ownership and empowerment with internal support staff
  • Ability and willingness to drive change effectively
