Shop Administrator
August 30, 2019The Shop Administrator supports the Shop Department by organizing and communicating project deadlines, taking calls and emails from other departments, and greeting customers.
The Shop Administrator will work in a fast-paced but casual environment and play a supporting role in ensuring customer satisfaction through working with the Shop Foreman and completing necessary data entry.
Hours are 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Knowledge and skills required:
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills
- Pleasant telephone manner
- Perform consistently under pressure and handle pressure/disappointment professionally
- Knowledgeable in the fundamentals of kitchen cabinet fabrication
- Consistently follow up on items/tasks
- Must be able to function with interruptions and deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to be diplomatic when dealing with clients and staff
- Ability to work well with numbers
- Must be focused and attentive to details
- Interest in keeping up with ever-changing technology
