Warehouse Delivery Driver

Summary:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the handling and shipping of products and materials from various warehouses and job sites.

The Deliver Driver will work in a fast-paced but casual environment and play a supporting role in ensuring customer satisfaction by handling and delivering all materials carefully in order to mitigate damage while adhering to safe job practices and procedures.

Key responsibilities:

• Careful handling and delivering of products and materials to various locations while adhering to organizational procedures
• Find the safest and best routes for designated deliveries
• Submit Delivery Reports to the Warehouse Administrator
• Support Warehouse Operations by helping develop best practices for the Shipping and Receiving Processes
• Support Warehouse Operations by performing various informal duties as directed
  • Shipping and receiving
  • Wrapping locally built products
  • Assist other departments as required and with safely moving large items
  • Perform routine maintenance of delivery van

Knowledge and skills required:

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good Customer Service skills
• Communicates clearly and effectively
• Attention to detail
• Able to work well with numbers
• Class 5 driver’s license
• Clean drivers abstract
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and stand on feet for 8 hours
