Kitchen Wine Storage Options
May 15, 2019As the summer draws nearer and we get closer to rosé season (we kid!), we thought it was the perfect time to talk about wine storage. Very often when we’re working on a new build or renovation, there’s the request to incorporate wine storage into our millwork or kitchen plans.
If you’re about to embark on a kitchen build or renovation, or just starting to put together your kitchen wishlist, we thought we’d share a few of the most popular ways we incorporate wine storage into our kitchen plans.
Option One: Island Wine Storage
If your kitchen plan includes an island, there are so many ways to incorporate wine storage into your island plan. Whether more modern or traditional, we can help create storage that’s not only beautiful but functional as well, like some of these spaces.
Option Two: Above or Beside Fridge Wine Storage
If storage is at a premium or if you don’t need a ton of wine storage, a simple but effective placement for a row of wine storage is above or beside your fridge. This option doesn’t take up too much room but gets the job done!
Option Three: Standout Feature
In larger kitchen spaces or when there’s a need for quite a bit more wine storage we love having fun with standout millwork features to store and display your wine.
Option Four: Wine Fridge
One of the simplest and easiest ways to get wine storage in your kitchen is through the use of a wine fridge! Wine fridges come in at a huge range of price points and in a huge variety of styles and sizes so your options are nearly limitless!
